These terms govern use of Colfax County Inmate Population. A visitor who uses the site agrees to these terms. If the terms are not acceptable, the visitor should not use the site.

Colfax County Inmate Population is privately owned and is not affiliated with Colfax County, Sheriff Shawn Messerlie, any jail, any court, NDCS, BOP, ICE, or another government body. Neither this site nor its advertising partners provide consumer reports, background checks, private-investigation services, or FCRA-covered screening services.

What This Site Is

This site is a private reference resource for Colfax County jail, inmate, booking, court, contract-facility, state-prison, federal, and immigration custody information. It does not store official records, control jail rosters, confirm custody, release people, post bond, file court documents, or act for a public agency.

Some linked records are public under Nebraska public-records laws, including Neb. Rev. Stat. 84-712 and 84-712.01, while other records may be withheld or limited under Neb. Rev. Stat. 84-712.05, Neb. Rev. Stat. 29-3523, court orders, juvenile rules, or other law.

Use Rules

  • Do not use the site for an unlawful purpose.
  • Do not use information found here to stalk, harass, threaten, or intimidate anyone.

By using the site, visitors agree not to use any information from it or from linked partner tools for an FCRA-covered purpose.

Those outside sites are not controlled by Colfax County Inmate Population. Their content, data handling, fees, uptime, search coverage, and terms are their own responsibility.

The site is provided as is. No promise is made that any page, link, phone number, facility detail, legal summary, roster note, partner result, or public-record explanation is complete, current, accurate, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
